Wood has natural antimicrobial properties. Coconut palm wood comes from coconut trees and they are a great sustainable alternative to rainforest timber.
Coconut trees can bear fruits for around 60 years before they begin to die. Many coconut plantations have no use after the trees have been cut down. They are usually burnt as waste. However, harvesting and producing coconut products can maximise the use of resources instead of leaving it to waste.
Care instructions:

- Do not put in the dishwasher or soak for a long period of time
- For every 10-20 uses, rub with coconut oil or beeswax to restore the smoothness and shine of the wood
