These vibrant birds which are native to Australia are known for being smart, curious, and very loving. The signature crest on top of every cockatoo's head can tell you a lot about how the bird is feeling. While all parrots can scream, cockatoos are notoriously loud. A cockatoo's contact call can be heard for up to a mile or more away.
