Escape the bustle of the city and join us for a 2 day self-love retreat weekend!
We're going to be indulging in self care and learning about mindfulness in an immersive, relaxing environment. Our goal is to raise awareness about self-love and body positivity through meditation, while also learning about sustainability.
We will have two sessions available. and each session will have a different intention word which will be the focus of that particular session. Details are as follows:
Dates: October 24th
Location: Banyan Workspace, Suite 1204, Eastern Harbour Centre, 28 Hoi Chak St, Quarry Bay
Schedule: 1.5 hour sessions
- Introduction/Intention Setting 5-10 minutes
- Presentation 10-15 minutes
- Hands-On Workshop Session 25 minutes
- Mindfulness Practice 10 minutes (Mindful Eating/Mindful Shopping/Mindful Living)
- Meditation Session 10-15 minutes
- Q&A/Breakaway Session 10 minutes
- Closing Circle 10 minutes
We will have a mini “marketplace” for guests to shop sustainable products during/before/after the sessions. Also, we will have vegan bagels from 404 Plant as an add-on for guests who want a light lunch.
Also, all retreat guests will receive a goodie bag to take home including: a discount voucher to be used on our online store, a free day pass for Banyan Workspace, and more sustainable goodies from our brand partners!

Berna is a certified meditation instructor. From schools to corporates, from teens to seniors. With occasional appearances in local radio and media on Mindful living, she hopes to bring the practice on and off cushion to you and build a more conscious community together.

Presentation: Sustainable beauty (What it is really?)
Workshop: How to properly dry brush to reduce cellulite and DIY natural lavender body scrub
Takeaway: 1x natural lavender body scrub with essential oils in glass jar*
*For a more low waste option, please bring your own glass jar for the scrub, otherwise we will provide them.
Session 2: 1pm-2:30pm
Intention word: Relax
Presentation: How to start living a plant-based lifestyle
Workshop: Butterfly pea flower tea mixology workshop with Blue Brew Tea
Takeaway: 1x cocktail or mocktail with butterfly pea flower tea and 100% locally made premium craft gin

Berna is a certified meditation instructor. She dedicates to present to you a unique experience from her heart to yours towards self-actualisation. Growing up in a family of deep rooted Buddhists and Taoists traditions while attended Christian school, she embraces diversity and considered herself as spiritual rather than religious. With an open mind and open heart, she pursued her studies and career in Fine Arts and Culture, it brought her to explore ancient Arts, creativity and spirituality, meeting spiritual teachers, artists, scholars, experts across Asia, China, US, India, finding the vast space in the Arts of stillness.
Grateful for her own practice in riding waves of life, she enjoys sharing the joy of mindful living with the world, while helping people to realize we all have freedom to create our lives as a masterpiece. From schools to corporates, from teens to seniors. As a regular guest-host on RTHK radio in Mindful living, she hopes to spark joy and ease in our community.
